(Summary) Wheatley apparently wants to take up a new hobby- crushing entire vehicles with a flex of his enormously powerful single arm. There’s one big huge glaring problem with this plan though, and he hopes Rattmann can correct it.

Wheatley and his hummingbird daemon Imri! Expanding on this picture inspired by Waffleguppies’ short stories of a His Dark Materials/Portal crossover (which can be read here, here, here, and here). Needed to practice animation, wanted to animate some expressions and lots of types of movement, so a Wheatley and a hummingbird it is.

Honestly I went and did all the freakin’ quotes and they’re amazing but I was lazy and just took a certain bit of it… I’d like to end up posting more really. hehehe (I just altered the pitch a bit and it worked out quite nicely) Is it weird that my first thought was that he actually seems like a Peter Parker from Bristol or something?…
Just couldn’t get it out of my head! It could all just work so nicely even like this… lol That kid intern that always got himself into trouble for just being a moron. I bet he was just like,”Oh hey, I’ll go impress those b*tches and do science and sh*t cuz that’s smart, and b*tches love smart guys… and… science… and sh*t…” He’s pretty much like a young Steve honestly. How he thinks he’s totally cool and whatnot but really he’s just an utter loser.
I still love you though Steve you tried.He’d end up just being a very angry teen once in charge. Oh God, the terror of a hormonal, gangly teen in charge of everything. God help us all.But really I love the idea somehow… haha Can this just be a thing or something?… Can that happen?…

I like the idea of GLaDOS being all menacing and revenge-seeking towards Wheatley for some reason… it just makes me want to draw it. So I did, but only after the idea spent a couple months knocking around in my head, ahaha. Androidy-humany versions as usual.. messed up a little in places but meh, enjoyed the process and that’s the important thing!

and totally getting the space core and gonna sit him next to my bed when I finally get to Solitude
but I was thinking, it makes no sense for the space core to appear in skyrim technically unless it’s another planet in the same universe as earth which would be p cool
and then I was thinking, it would makes slightly more sense to have this as a mod for Fallout

Okay I wash my hands of this for now. I don’t have the program necessary to make it an animatic (The school lab has it but I’m reluctant to have to explain myself if anyone asks what these boards are for)

So a few hours ago, I downloaded a Wheatley voice acting pack and listened to it for about 3 hours straight. I don’t know lol, I haven’t even finished playing the game yet (still stuck in Chapter 7) and I’m already jumping on the “animate human!Wheatley saying something” bandwagon. I picked this particular voice clip at random.
Inspired by not-quite-normal and baysalt—two fantastic artists.
It’s still very rough, and I’m no good at pantomime or dialogue, so this is great practice. With that said, this is probably going to take me a few weeks to clean up.
