The Yes Man Companion Mod!
Now you can bring your lovable robot underling with you wherever you go! Show him the world, take him to a casino, or just use him to blow up radroaches with his onboard M-235 missiles launchers.
Developed by Lady Swillmart and myself (she did all the hard bits), Yes Man is fully voiced for every occasion and comes with a companion perk. He’s quite big and has a little trouble with small doors, but he’ll manage eventually. Don’t worry about getting him blown up, he can’t die! He’ll just respawn for you and wait to be taken on another adventure.
If you notice anything wrong, don’t hesitate to contact either of us and we’ll try to fix it.

Did you know being a Securitron is really hard
no no I don’t mean like “It must be hard to be a robot that can’t etc”
I mean
omg answering asks and RPing a securitron is HARD.
I’m trying to juggle being accurate and “in character” vs being interesting and/or funny.
I read all this because I really admire how you run that blog. You can’t ever stick to canon all that hard with askblogs because people are gonna send in weird shit and ask you to hug them when they’re ponies or something like that. So to a point you just sorta accept that it’s gotta be slightly silly.
On the other hand, I really like PQD for not taking that kind of stuff. Try to reprogram him? HE SHUTS OFF. Get rough with him? He starts falling apart. Securitrons are always funny because they’re so serious about everything and so intimidatingly anti-fun. I mean the entire Strip is this hilarious juxtaposition of drunken gamblers stumbling around completely ignoring the giant killer robot force. And House wants people to feel relaxed about it so they say stuff trying to encourage people to have a good time and coming from THEM it is just so funny
But basically yeah that’s just how Securitrons are, big dumb killjoys who deadpan against the backdrop of every kind of human debauchery there is. I can tell it must be really tricky to figure out what way to answer stuff, but I love when he’s all NOPE about it. It’s funny in a very canon way. Because they’re like, mobile weapons, but all they do is kinda stand there and SIGH the humans are in the fountain again. Eternally irritated parental figures who have so much to put up with.
And you don’t /really/ have to worry about making him too ‘special’ because he’s never done anything that seemed out of place for a generic Securitron. He’s what could happen if you interacted with one instance of their personality, it’s not like anything about him couldn’t apply to the other instances too!
